The Practical Nursing (PN) Program prepares students for a rewarding career and provides the knowledge and hands-on experience required to take the PN National Council Licensure Exam. This is a 15-month, part-time program offered from 9:00AM-5:45PM on Monday and Wednesday, Tuesday and Thursday, and Friday and Saturday. The program requires the students to complete 1,328 clocked hours of instruction. Upon successful completion, students receive a Practical Nurse Diploma. The PN Program is offered three times a year in January, May and September.

Nurses are an essential part of the healthcare system and there are projections that 117,300 more jobs will be available for licensed practical nurses between 2014 and 2024 (which is an employment growth rate of 16 percent, which is higher than most occupations). Skilled nursing facilities and general medical and surgical hospitals employ the largest percentage of licensed practical nurses (LPNs), followed by physician offices and home health care services.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics the median annual wage of Licensed Practical Nurses is $43,170.00* and 80% of all LPNs salaries range from $32,040.00 to $59,510.00.
