Employment Outlook & Earning Potential

Nursing is one of the fastest growing professions in the United States. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that employment of registered nurses will grow faster than the average of all occupations through 2024. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual wage for registered nurses (RNs) was $67,490 in May 2015.*

This high demand for employment, along with a high income potential, makes nursing an excellent profession for individuals of all ages to enter.
