Global Health College has a full-time librarian who assists students in finding and using the latest educational online resources available, as well as providing guidance and answering any questions students may have regarding the best way to conduct an online search or find additional resources to use in their studies.
Meet the Librarian
Katherine Multop has been a helpful and welcoming resource to students at Global Health College for the last five years. She always takes the time to provide answers to questions and helpful tips to students to help them to improve their study habits and online research skills. Katherine has a master’s degree in library science from The Catholic University of America.
I love opening up new avenues of learning for students and providing new tools to enhance their academic experience.
Online Journal Database
Another great resource for students is our online journal database. The easy-to-use database contains thousands of informative research articles searchable by subject, date, and country. The journals included in this database cover numerous topics relevant to nursing students including: medical surgical nursing, obstetrics, world health, diseases, pharmacology, and many more important topics in nursing research. Nurses, allied health professionals, researchers, nurse educators, and students consider this database an essential research tool. This valuable research resourse includes publications from the American Nurses Association. It also provides access to health care books, nursing dissertations, audiovisuals, book chapters, and other research materials.
Check out the online journal database* at: http://search.ebscohost.com. Please contact the librarian for your username and password.
*The online database is only available to current Global Health College students.
